ROLE PLAYING GAMES!
This is another favorite genre of mine. I have a "type" for sure, but doesn't everyone? This genre is typically very immersive, containing a well thought out storyline, character arc, quests, side quests, character development, and freedom to make decisions for your character as you want to make them. These games allow you the opportunity to choose where you want to go and what you want to accomplish as your character. I have spent easily over 200 hours in each of the following games and highly recommend them.
