About Me

A little background

Graphic design is my passion. I remember Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet by memory. I was first introduced to Web Design and Interative Media in 2014 during vocational tech school. Since then, I've done professional App design, Web Development, and server hosting for my side business, Eruzione Design. I am a tech hobbyist and have a half loaded 52u server rack in my living room (I call it "The Obelisk"). www.eruzione.us is my domain, where i previously self hosted a wordpress portfolio site! As of now, the server is shut off until I finish my move into my first home. In the interim, I've turned on a few game servers which I host for friends. Minecraft, Valheim, and Rust are the current lineup. I was certified in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver a few years ago and have moved professionally into a cybersecurity career and obtained my CISSP. I haven't done much web development by hand in a long time, aside from the occasional style tweaks. Primarily I prefer to use the WordPress Suite and Figma Design. So, this is a welcome refresher. for how things get built. Outside of class, I'm working on DiveMaps - a community app for scuba divers that combines an interactive map of dive sites with photos, reviews, and stories from the people who dove them.

I am no novice to web development, dynamic page design, or styling. I am positive that there are some other adept students in this class aswell, and I can't wait to see their work!

What I'm into

Scuba diving, Hiking, and Technology are my bread and butter. I've recently switched my daily desktop to Bazzite OS, a Linux distro built for gaming. I've settled on this after years of fiddling with different distros. I chose Bazzite thanks to its ease of use and native built in proton compatibility layer.
