Set in the Antebellum South in 1858, the film follows Django
a freed slave who partners with Dr. King Schultz, a German bounty hunter.
Schultz frees Django from a group of slave traders, needing his help to identify the Brittle brothers, who are wanted criminals.
In exchange for Django's assistance, Schultz promises to help him find his wife, Broomhilda, who has been sold into slavery. As they embark on their journey, Django proves to be a quick learner and a skilled marksman, training under Schultz's guidance.
Their quest leads them to "Candyland," a notorious plantation owned by the sadistic Calvin Candie.
To infiltrate the plantation and rescue Broomhilda, Django and Schultz devise a plan to pose as wealthy buyers interested in purchasing a Mandingo fighter.
