Movie Summary

The animated movie Coraline is about a young girl who discovers a secret, parallel world through a small door in her new home that seems more exciting and perfect than her real life. This "Other World" is ruled by the "Other Mother," who appears to be a kinder, more attentive version of Coraline's real mother, but with buttons for eyes. Coraline soon realizes the Other World is a dangerous trap created by the evil "Beldam" witch, who wants to steal her soul.
